Are you an organized person?

The last time I use glue made of starch was in primary 1, which was made by my mum for school's artwork. Today is my turn to make the same glue with cornstarch for my 7 year old boy but not for artwork, it's for his homework. We turn the house upside down and couldn't find any glue in sight. I swear I have seen UHU, Elephant, Sticko etc. laying somewhere but I just couldn't find them. Hubby does a lot of artwork therefore we have all sorts of adhesive agent in the house. Nevertheless, incident like this has become a norm because I am living with disorganized people. It is so ironic that the big part of my job nature is to stay organized and ensure everything is in order and organized but my home is so much the otherwise.

I used to have designated storage box or drawer for stationery, tools, sewing kit and etc., clothes hanging in closet were arranged in sequential order with short sleeve follow by mid length and long sleeve. No, I'm not a freak that keep the house spotless but just trying to keep things neat and tidy and in order because I have poor memory, the best solution to it is to be organized. If we have designated place for everything, then we don't have to worry about misplacing or losing things. The word organized had some how disappeared after living with my husband for a year. There is no point busy myself with putting things back in order when the others keep misplacing them. It is very tiring, irritating and frustrating. It caused anger and arguments. Hubby told me it is not worth arguing because of a pair of scissors. Nobody force me to tidy the house. If tired, then don't do anything, just relax. I think it over and I had to agree with him. What he said was very true but it is not easy to change a person's habit. It took me years to get used to looking at clothes piling on the chair at the hall for days without folding and putting them away because I'm simply exhausted after starting my day at 7.30am and only able to sit down to relax at 10pm. The clothes can wait.
